gibsonHewitt was first set up in 1988 by Lynn Gibson and Robert Hewitt who were senior managers with the leading accountancy practice of Touche Ross at the time.
With over 40 years experience, and success, in preparing and implementing business plans, corporate restructuring and viability reviews gibsonHewitt have faced many challenges and as such are confident to help people and businesses avoid bankruptcy or administration/liquidation. Both Lynn and Robert work personally with their team of highly trained and qualified staff allowing them to help individuals and businesses who are facing bankruptcy and want to move forward financially.
Lynn is an honours graduate in Economics at the University of Manchester. She qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1978. Robert qualified as a chartered accountant in 1979. He has served as a director of both public and private companies and as both as a trustee and an adviser to charities. Both Lynn and Robert are also a Fellow of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals and a qualified Insolvency Practitioner regulated by ICAEW and R3.
